These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Timestamp Converter, the website located at timestampconverter.net ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Timestamp Converter is a free, browser-based tool that helps developers convert between Unix timestamps, ISO 8601, RFC 2822, and other date and time formats. The conversion is performed in your browser; we do not require an account or store your input on our servers. Reference pages on this site (such as the per-timezone, per-year, per-cron-expression, and per-language pages) are static documentation generated at build time.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, related systems, or any part of the underlying infrastructure.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any associated network without explicit written permission.
- Send automated traffic (scraping, crawling, denial-of-service traffic) at a rate or volume designed to disrupt the Service or its other users. Polite, low-volume crawling that respects
robots.txtis permitted. - Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or rent any portion of the Service for commercial purposes without written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.
- Use the Service to display, distribute, or store unlawful, infringing, harassing, or fraudulent content.
- Bypass any rate limits, access controls, or security mechanisms.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with the Service or its operator.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, layout, text, graphics, code, and the selection and arrangement of its contents, is the property of the operator of Timestamp Converter or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The "Timestamp Converter" name and logo are not licensed for your use except as needed to describe or link to the Service.
Code snippets shown on this site (for example, the Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, and Go examples on the per-format and per-language pages) are short, factual demonstrations of how to perform a conversion. They are provided in the public interest and you may copy them into your own projects without attribution. The surrounding prose, headings, and presentation are not licensed for redistribution.
Open-source libraries used by the Service (such as day.js) are governed by their own licenses and are not subject to these Terms.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected.
Conversion results, sample fire times, leap-year status, daylight saving notes, and other computed values are provided as references for developer convenience. They should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for legal, medical, financial, or other decisions where accuracy matters. Always validate critical timestamps against your own system's authoritative source.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator of Timestamp Converter, its contributors, or any third-party providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service - whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed five US dollars (US$5) - a nominal amount reflecting the fact that the Service is provided free of charge.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or display third-party advertisements (for example, via Google AdSense). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of third-party sites or ads. Your interactions with third parties are between you and them.
